SEGIB (Secretaría General Iberoamericana) has commissioned the Chair of Legal Culture (Girona) to produce a report on the challenges of strengthening legal security in Ibero-American countries. Our senior member Jordi Ferrer (Director of the Chair of Legal Culture) was part of the team responsible for preparing this report. The report was presented during the conference titled “Challenges of Legal Security in Ibero-America”, held at the SEGIB headquarters in Madrid on 21 May, 2025. It represents a shift from the traditional focus on legal security for business and international trade, emphasizing instead the central role of legal security as a foundation for human development.
