David Ebrey is a Serra Húnter Fellow (Lector) at the  Department of Philosophy of the University of Barcelona.

He works on ancient Greek philosophy, primarily Plato and Aristotle. David’s training is in analytic philosophy (BA University of Chicago, PhD UCLA) and he continues to have strong interests in a number of topics and debates within it. He has recently published Plato’s Phaedo: Forms, Death, and Philosophical Life (CUP, 2023) and co-edited (with Richard Kraut) The Cambridge Companion to Plato, 2nd Edition (CUP, 2022).
